  Rufus: For the record, you’re a much better piano player than I am
  Ben: Yeah, but you’re much prettier than I am, so…

when prompted to create a story about rain off the cuff…take from it what you will

SoftLord (11:19:27 PM): once upon a time there was there was a woman who found herself doing bad deeds to other people, totally outside of her own control…she felt really bad about it and tried her best to be good to people but just couldn’t help screwing up other peoples lives
SoftLord (11:20:30 PM): as a result she had a really difficult time keeping a man…she would break hearts left and right, and because she was impossibly gorgeous she had no shortage of suitors
SoftLord (11:21:49 PM): she would go home and cry every night as the next man got broken into thousands of pieces
SoftLord (11:22:40 PM): so she resolved that the next man she found, she would try her extra hardest to be nice to and break her pattern once and for all
SoftLord (11:23:49 PM): so she met this guy..and he was really sweet and treated her like gold, and she tried her very best every day to not be cruel
SoftLord (11:24:36 PM): and after a few weeks they were walking in the park, and he turned to her with love in his eyes and spoke her name
SoftLord (11:24:47 PM): just then it started to rain
SoftLord (11:26:34 PM): and as the water pierced her skin over and over, blood spilling from her rapidly dwindling body, she looked around at the munchkins surrounding them, and then back up to her love’s face, watching the horror in his face, and the light going out of his eyes, she moaned “damn irony.”…. and with that, the wicked witch of the east broke her last man and left this mortal coil forever
