Besides looking like it could break the connector on the bottom of the iPods with any force, I’m just wondering if theres any specific reason (besides the marketing juice) that the sources need to be iPods. This machine would be just as sweet (if not more so) if the user could carry two thumbdrives or firewire hard drives around and have the processing done by the machine rather than the iPod, perhaps with some custom software. Plus I certainly wouldn’t want to have to take a bathroom break during a set with two iPods just sitting there. [Via Engadget]
