Well, when thinking about the frustrations of dealing with the opposite sex, I happened upon a post on Greg The Boyfriend which hits pretty on the nose the dangers of being out of the ‘getting that rush’ loop for awihle.

DUDE!!!! I am so going through that right now with a guy! It’s like…I am trying to play it “cool” right (yeah..that never works…well first of all you have to be “cool” in the first place…LOL…I lack that…I am pretty much a spaz and well…I am “to the point”!:)… also I don’t like to “play” anything if that makes sense…) …when all I want to do is keep learning more about him but our first official “date” isn’t until next Tuesday! I don’t want to scare him off by coming off rediculous, ya know?(I actually met him through my sister’s BF…and actually met him back in December, but I really wasn’t open to anything then) OK…this might not be making any sense because there are lots of details I am leaving out but I guess what I am trying to say is “I GET IT”….I have been there and I am not one who likes to “hold back” or “play it cool”, because I rarely get excited about someone and when I do it’s like you’ve discovered some ancient artifact or something… plus isn’t it just nice to know the bottom line? Rather than always guessing from what you think are subtle hints from the person which could really be just some altered reality that you view those hints from your own hopefull bias….isn’t it always a shocker when someone just says…”I really like you”….yeah…maybe on Tuesday I will take my own advice!
